The Kaneohe Aikido Club was founded by Sensei Kenneth Kawamura, (deceased) in 1965, following the teachings of O Sensei Ueshiba, of Aikikai Japan. We are now affiliated with Aikido Yuishinkai, founded by Sensei Koretoshi Maruyama, since 2003, and have celebrated our 50th year anniversary in 2015. The club consists of around 12 members, children and adults of all ages.
We hold classes at the Kaneohe Community and Senior Center:
45-613 Puohala St, Kaneohe, HI 96744.
Parking is free with plenty of spaces. Our building is wheelchair accessible and easy to find.
Class is on Wednesdays, 5:30PM - 7:15PM.
